Origin supports a wide variety of 2D graph types such as bar graphs, line graphs, pie graphs, Smith® charts, and many other specialized plots. Most of the basic and specialized 2D graph types are accessible on a 2D Graphs Extended toolbar.
A form of Scatter plot where the data points are displayed as symbols with vertical lines extending down to the bottom X axis.
A special kind of line and symbol graph where the line connection is set to 2 Point Segment automatically.
A special kind of line and symbol graph where the line connection is set to 3 Point Segment automatically.
A Line graph that uses a vertical "step" connection between each data point.
A Line graph that uses a horizontal "step" connection between each data point.
A spline curve connection can be enabled on almost any line or line + symbol plot. Once enabled, Origin internally transforms your data set based on the calculated spline function. It then plots the result on your graph.

Plots 2 selected worksheet Y columns as a Double Y Axis graph.
Plots 3 selected worksheet Y columns as Double Y graph with Righthand Y Offset Axis.
Plots 3 selected worksheet Y columns as Double Y graph with Center Y Offset Axis.
Plots 4 selected worksheet Y columns as Double Y graph with two Righthand Y Offset Axis.
Plots 4 selected worksheet Y columns as Double Y graph with Double Y Offset Axis.
Plots selected worksheet Y columns as multiple Y Axes graph.
Plots selected worksheet columns as a Line Series graph.
Plots selected worksheet columns as a Waterfall graph.
Plots selected worksheet columns as a Waterfall Y Color Mapping.
Plots selected worksheet columns as a Waterfall Z Color Mapping.
Plots selected worksheet columns as line plots offset to stack on top of each other.
A two layer graph that can be used to zero in on a particular part of your data to get a closer look.
The most common error bar plot is one in which the errors are in the y values.
An error bar plot in which the errors occur in both the x and y values is also included with Origin.
Takes the group of selected data sets and interprets the values in each column as lengths.
Takes the group of selected data sets and interprets the values in each column as heights.
Displays Y values as beginning, at one or more intermediate (optional), and ending bar levels for each X value. The X values plot along the vertical axis.
Displays Y values as beginning, at one or more intermediate (optional), and ending column levels for each X value.
Charts three variables in two dimensions by varying the size of each data point in a scatter plot based on the third variable (or column of data).
Utilizes a third variable to vary the color of each data point in a scatter graph.
A graph that depicts 4 dimensions on one set of axes,it combined the Bubble and Color map plots.
A graphical representation of key values from summary statistics. Typically, the values represented are the minimum, 25th percentile, median, 75th percentile, and the maximum. Sometimes these values are called the five-number summary.
A statistical tool that is used to study the fluctuation of data in a process when analyzing the performance of a product.
Graphically summarizes the distribution of a single variable dataset. It can be created from 2D or 3D (matrix) data.
Provides combined graphic information about the data distribution, by depicting a histogram of the raw data along with a probability plot.
Allows to view the distribution for one or more variables or one or more instances of the same variable in one convenient display.
Plots selected worksheet columns as a Pareto Binned Chart.
Plots selected worksheet columns as Pareto Raw Data Chart.
Plots selected data as a Scatter Matrix Sheet.
Plots selected worksheet columns as a Probability graph.
Plot selected worksheet columns as Q-Q graph.
Displays 2 variables on one graph page vertically.
Displays 2 variables on one graph page horizontally.
Displays 4 variables on one graph page.
Displays 9 variables on one graph page.
A multi-layer or panel graph that where each panel is stacked on top of each other in a single column.
Plots a multiple-layers graph by grouping on column labels.
