User-created Themes are saved to the \Themes subfolder of the User Files area. Theme files have a file extension of .OIS. You can create multiple Themes for a given X-Function, thus allowing the tool to be quickly configured and operated in multiple ways for a given analysis. The Theme Organizer dialog accessible from the Tools menu (Tools: Theme Organizer) can be used to manage analysis Themes.

Once a Theme has been created, you can select the Theme from the Dialog Theme drop-down list in the X-Function dialog box. The drop-down list also has the options of Save as <Default> and <Last Used>. The Save as Default item can save the current settings as Default and replace fore default settings for the parameters. The Last Used item corresponds to settings that were in effect when the dialog box was used last time. Last Used appears only after the dialog has been used at least once.

Themes can be accessed from a fly-out menu, provided that the fly-out menu option has been enabled in the X-Function tree. The following figure shows the fly-out menu options for the "Smoothing" X-Function under the Signal Processing category, where multiple user-created Themes are displayed.
