Origin's 3D XYY Bars, 3D XYY Ribbons, 3D XYY Walls, and 3D XYY Waterfall graph
types plot pairs of XY columns using the Z axis to organize the data by column
name. This creates a visual separation between each data plot and allows for
quick comparison of trends.

3D XYY Bars Plot
 |
|
Make 3D representations of 2D Bar graphs using 3D XYY graphs. For
example, this graph shows how Origin's 3D XYY Bar graph can be modified
so that the Y axis appears with no rotation.

3D XYY Ribbons Plot
 |
|
This graph illustrates one way the 3D XYY Ribbons plot has been
used in Materials Science. It shows potential surface calculations
for a 4-Cu-atom chain. The graph was submitted by Xi-yong Sean
Fu, graduate student, Department of Materials Science and Engineering,
The Ohio State University.

3D XYY Waterfall Plot
 |
|
This series of 3D XYY Waterfall graphs presents data from a study
of response pattern in four Winstar laboratory rats. Four 3D XYY
Waterfall plots were created separately and merged using Origin's
Merge All Graph Windows feature. The graph was prepared for publication
by using a black and white color scheme where the Fill Area was
set to White for every waterfall dataset.
